Latchi in Cyprus, a picturesque fishing village which stretches 3km along the North West coast of the Island and lies on the edge of the beautiful Akamas National Park. The pretty harbour offers a number of excellent fresh fish tavernas that have turned out to be famous across the island.

The Akamas Peninsula is an area of breathtaking beauty associated with Aphrodite and is just along the coast from Latchi. According to myth, the goddess Aphrodite used to bathe in the pool of the nearby natural grotto, which is shaded by a fig tree, and has a continuous run of water from the overhead rocks.
The baths are considered a source of fertility.
